House call workshops require nothing but space, water, and your hands! I travel to you with everything we need and I take your newly made clay-babies home with me to fire them in the kiln! I've listed two basic workshops, but if you are wanting something different- just ask! If you are wanting a weekday workshop it must be booked two weeks prior to the workshop. If you would rather have a weekend workshop, it must be booked three weeks prior.  If you are interested in booking a workshop or would like more information, please e-mail Emily at nestingdollpottery@gmail.com!

Handbuilt Bowl Workshop
In this simple and quick workshop, everyone will make their own bowl! We will hand form, underglaze (color!), and carve our bowls together- a very good workshop for beginners! The bowls will be fired in a clear glaze, allowing your decoration to show through. Please note that this workshop is for a handbuilt bowl, not one thrown on the potter's wheel. This workshop will last about 1.5 hours!

Handbuilt Mug Workshop
In this workshop we will all make our own coffee mug, you can get as crazy with it as you'd like! Together we will hand form, underglaze (color!), and decorate our mug. The mugs will be fired in a clear glaze, allowing your decoration to show through. Please note that this workshop is for a handbuilt mug, not a mug thrown on the potter's wheel. This is a pretty simple workshop, the hardest part is learning how to make a handle! It will take a few tries so you can expect the workshop to last about 2 hours!
